Back in 2010, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul Standard, Gibson produced a limited run of reissue guitars to capture the special moment in the evolution of this iconic instrument. No aging or wear treatment had been applied, so these beauties were made to look as shiny and new as the originals would have looked when they were first put on display.
Due to the evolution of the original Les Paul Standards, Gibson chose three designs to duplicate, each one representing a different chapter in the guitar’s evolution over the course of the year. These being Version One, Two, and Three, with just 500 of each version produced.
As this model is Version One, it has exactly the same specs as a '59 Les Paul, but with a 60s serial number.
Weighing in at 4kg (8.8lbs) with a solid 1-piece Mahogany body with a glorious 2-piece Flame Maple top, 1-piece Mahogany neck with late 50's Rounded "C" shape profile and long neck tenon, beautiful dark Rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, acrylic Trapezoid inlays, and Nylon nut.
Featuring a set of killer sounding Burstbucker 1&2 humbuckers with Alnico II magnets, 500k CTS audio taper pots, Bumble Bee caps, 3-way Switchcraft switch and output jack.

All polished nickel plated hardware with lightweight Aluminium ABR no-wire bridge and stop bar tailpiece.
Keeping you in tune are a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners with Tulip buttons.
Comes with its original Gibson Custom Hardshell Case, Commemorative Certificate Of Authenticity "Gold Booklet" (COA), Historic Reissue Hang Tags (still attached from original purchase), Gibson Warranty Card/Booklet, Literature, all paperwork, as well as its original Gibson shipping box!
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 10-46 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics tested and working perfectly, all hardware cleaned and secured.
Overall condition is 9.9/10 'NEAR Mint'
