Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this absolutely Stunning Silverburst Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Historic '68 Reissue from 2005.
 
Now, you don't find these all that often. Sure, there are plenty of USA production run silverburst Les Paul Customs around, but this is a '68 Custom Shop Historic Reissue...Yes...a '68 Reissue from a run of only 60 Silverburst models produced in 2005.
 
This beauty has the thick '68 profile Neck with genuine Ebony Fretboard, Mahogany body and Maple top.
 
Weight = 4.4kg (9.9lbs)
 
These customs were issued with Gibson 490R/498T pickups, but this Custom features a Gibson PAF #2 in the neck position and Gibson 498T in the bridge. I have inspected the control cavity and all pots, wiring and soldering look to be original. I have emailed Gibson and sent photos for more information on this, so just awaiting further details.
 
Overall condition = 9/10
There is some minor paint checking on the rear of the headstock, pickup surrounds and volume controls (see photos).
 
Absolutely NO bucklerash!
 
There are some minor scuff marks on the rear of the cutaway.
Chrome hardware is almost mint!
Other than that, it's in stunning condition.
 
There is NO fretware!
 
I have serviced and setup the guitar with D'Addario 10-46 guage strings, frets polished, fretboard cleaned and oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and adjusted ever so slightly, now she plays beautifully.
 
Comes with the original Gibson Custom Shop Hardshell Case, COA, paperwork, hangtag, truss rod tool and case key.
 
This Silverburst beauty has never been gigged and has spent the majority of its life in the case, hence the condition.
